Personal Interview: Shortlisted applicants must undergo a strict face-to-face interview with Deborah Nel to ensure they meet our Gold Standard.

Emergency Health: Sitters must recognize GDV (Bloat) symptoms as a life-threatening emergency. Direct transport to the vet is required immediately.

Absolutely no visitors allowed on client property. Happy Puppy is a professional service, and your focus must remain entirely on the home and pets.

Deny entry to any unauthorized service providers. Every exit requires a physical "pull test" on the door to confirm security.

3. Leash Protocol

Dogs must remain on-lead in public at all times. Safety and control are non-negotiable during exercise.

A minimum of 2 photo/video updates per day must be sent to the pet parent via our approved channels to ensure their peace of mind.
